UX research & process design
The challenge
Angle finance came to us with the need to improve their settlement process in both efficiency and accuracy. We decided to explore the use of AI to automate parts of the settlement approval process.
My contributions
I designed and conducted user interviews with the Angle Finance team, working with key stakeholders to gain a shared understanding of the challenges and inefficiencies of the current settlement process.

Research/Design approach
I interviewed members within the settlement team, identifying touch-points across the different roles and to the applicant. I also audited the processes within the Angle Finance settlement desktop application, gaining a clear understanding of the user flows.

Findings
After gaining a holistic view of the process, we were able to identify:
  • areas where AI could automate data translation and improve accuracy
  • parts of the process which were redundant and could be consolidated
  • identify data which could be populated through technical connections between currently-siloed systems.
