Ngā Pou o Heretaunga

The challenge
The Ministry of Education approached us with the learning opportunity to tell the story of the Ngā Pou o Heretaunga park and the history of the Pou which the park pays tribute to. It was such a unique and humbling experience.
My contributions
I worked closely with historical writers and gained an understanding of the park itself.
The Solution
I quickly learned that the land is the carrier of this story and so geography became a key feature to highlight in our navigation. Additionally, each Marae connected to the Pou and the artist, so I decided to spotlight that part of the story.
